Mark Sylvia concentrates his practice in the areas of general business and corporate law, estate planning, estate administration, asset protection planning, business succession planning, elder law and tax law.
Mr. Sylvia has over twenty years of experience representing a wide range of closely-held businesses, their owners and families. He also assists individuals and businesses in tax matters with the Internal Revenue Service and administrative agencies of states and localities. He is a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and the Rhode Island Bar Association Committee on Taxation.
Mr. Sylvia is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Connecticut, and before the United States District Courts for the Districts of Rhode Island and Connecticut. He earned a B.S. degree from Providence College, a J.D. degree from the Quinnipiac University School of Law and an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
