Mark has worked extensively with clients on their wealth transfer issues, including maximizing tax savings and preserving assets for Medicaid planning. He also helps clients achieve their philanthropy goals through the creation of charitable trusts and foundations. Mark has lectured on estate planning, business planning, and asset protection for the Rhode Island Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. and Suffolk University Center for Advanced Legal Studies.
Mark is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida. He earned a B.A. degree in Economics from Wake Forest University, where he was also a member of the golf team. He received his J.D. degree from Suffolk University School of Law and an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. He is a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council, the Boston Estate Planning Council and the American Bar Association. Mark is currently a part of the Alumni Association for the Providence Country Day School, his alma mater, and a member of its Board of Trustees.
