Marvin is an attorney practicing primarily in the areas of estate administration and probate litigation since 1975. Mr. Homonoff received his A.B. degree from Brown University and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to practice in both the State of Rhode Island and the federal courts including the United States Supreme Court.
Marvin is the President of the Rhode Island Probate Judges Association. He has co-authored the following: “Rhode Island Elder Law the Basics and Beyond” 1990, “Administration of the Estate in Rhode Island” 1992, “A Practical Guide to Estate Administration in Rhode Island” 1995. Furthermore he co-edited “A Practical Guide to Probate in Rhode Island” MCLB New England 2011. Since 1994, Marvin has acted as liaison between the Rhode Island Probate Judges Association and the Probate and Trust Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association, as well as being a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and the American Bar Association’s Section on Real Property and Probate Law.
In 1997, Marvin received an AV rating, the highest accolade awarded to attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell as a result of an extensive, confidential review conducted among the legal profession in the community. According to Martindale-Hubbell, an independent company, this rating is a confirmation that the recipient’s legal abilities are of the very highest standard and his professional ethics unquestioned. In 2014, Marvin was selected to teach as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Roger Williams University Law School in Bristol, RI.
